He is Full Professor at FEI University Center (Centro Universitário FEI). The principal activities/research are developing new hardness-by-design devices (new layout styles for MOSFETs), sensors, and analog and radiofrequency CMOS ICs designs. He founded MTG2i Solutions Co., which provides analog and radiofrequency CMOS CIs and IPs design services using iMTGSPICE. This computational tool integrates the heuristics algorithms of optimization of the Artificial Intelligence and the expertise of the designers (Human Intelligence). Consequently, it significantly reduces the design and optimization cycle time, reducing the design cost to the companies.
