To design a CMOS based bandgap voltage reference circuit which occupies less area , dissipates less power and the efficiency of the circuit is high
Basically, An integrated circuit should work at all temperature regions, so a reference voltage should be used which is independent of temperature so that it can be compared with another voltage that is dependent on temperature. A voltage reference is a device that ideally produces a fixed voltage. These circuits are one of the most important analog building blocks required for many circuits like Analog to Digital converter, voltage regulators etc., These circuits are designed based on a band gap reference which typically provides stable voltage over power supply variations, ambient temperatures .By modifying the bandgap load, the temperature dependences of the voltage output and the current output can be compensated separately.
