Description
With advancement of time we are readily moving towards higher
and higher frequencies. This is making the analog signal processing
very challenging specially at microwave and radiowave frequencies.
These design exhaust a substantial amount of area in a chip. Here in
this project we tried to propose a solution to overcome this
challenge. As OPAMP is one of the most common analog blocks used
in wide range of circuits , we target designing an three stage PVT
independent OPAMP having a 10GHz UGB.
A high speed three stage operational amplifier using a modified feed-forward compensation technique in a standard 0.13 um CMOS technology. The three stage gm-boost and inverter based op-amp with feed-forward compensation intends to achieve 10 GHz of UGB with a dc gain of 50dB keeping the pvt variations as nominal by biasing the body voltage with a bandgap reference made by exploiting mos in subthreshold region.
